GETTING HERE
By Road
Travelling by road to Splitska on the Island of Brač is straightforward. Travel down the A1 (E71) motorway to the exit 25 (Split, Dugopolje), and continue along: Čvor Split. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit (towards Split). Continue straight on towards Dubrovnik, Split. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit (street Zbora Narodne Garde, towards Split) and then follow the signs to the Split Ferry Port.
Take the car ferry in the Split Ferry Port to Supetar on the Island of Brač. The journey takes 50 minutes. Once in Supetar, continue straight on and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit towards Splitska and Postira. Villa Olea is situated on the main road between Splitska and Postira. Parking is available on site.
By Rail
The closest train station to the Island of Brač is in Split. Travel is possible to Split by train from many parts of Europe. The train station in Split is right across from the Split Ferry Port.
By Air
The closest international airport to the Island of Brač is the one in Split. Split Airport is situated 30 km from Split ferry port. Transfer of passengers from the Airport is organised by buses, and there is also a local bus every 20 minutes and taxis are available during the operating time of the Airport.
From the smaller Brač Island Airport it is possible to fly to Zagreb, Graz, Dusseldorf, Leipzig, Zurich, Malmo, Linz, Vienna, mostly during weekends. Note that only smaller planes (charter) can land at Brač airport.
By Bus
Bus lines connect all parts of the country. Regular international bus lines connect Croatia with all neighbouring countries, as well as most of central European and west European countries. If you are travelling to the Island of Brač by bus - there are connections from all larger cities to Split. The international bus station in Split is right across from the Split Ferry Port.
By Sea
Large car ferries run three times a week across the Adriatic to and from Ancona and Pescara (Italy) to Split. There is also a large ferry that runs twice a week up and down the coast between Dubrovnik and Rijeka, stopping off at a couple of islands along the way. Split is the main hub for local boats and hydrofoils in Central Dalmatia. From Split, several times a day, each day of the week, you can easily catch a local car ferry to Supetar on the Island of Brač.
